(GECKO): GECKO is perhaps the only Non-Profit organization in the United States with the sole mandate of helping government agencies, companies, & non-profits improve their environmental practices. GECKO was formed to address the remarkable need for free environmental education & change assistance. GECKO exists because positive environmental changes need to happen & many agencies, businesses, and non-profits would become greener - but they often lack the money, time, or expertise to implement ecologically positive change on their own. At GECKO we believe: "It is time for us Each to take personal responsibility & to start becoming the agent of living change we All can be." Mission: GECKO is a 501(C)3 (tax exempt) non-profit corporation dedicated to helping businesses, government agencies, & non- profits become better stewards of the environment.
